This post is filled with a picture overload because I can't ever just choose "some" pictures. Especially when my baby has been alive for HALF A DECADE. She's 5! I have a big girl, and I couldn't be more in love with her than the day I met her. She's so beautiful, smart, and hilarious. I've never met a girl quite like her. Anyone who has ever had the pleasure of meeting my Dove knows she's a moody, funny, energetic little girl and she's so perfect to me.

She's seriously so perfect. As difficult as things may seem at times when she's throwing a wild fit, I look at her strong will and love it. It's a hate/love for her strong will, but I know it will come in handy when she's grown. She will make a mark in history, this one. This wild baby.
// Anyway, since i'm 9 months pregnant and seriously about to shoot this baby out any day, we decided to have a little birthday at home. She's still not really requesting her parties be anywhere crazy- so might as well save some $$ while we can still get away with it. ;)
Her theme this year was SHOPKINS WHAT ELSE (and a mix of springtime.)

(brandon made this homemade Kooky Cookie cake just for our gal.)

We let everyone paint pots and decorate them with glitter, jewels and plant flowers in them.
It was a beautiful day- a little windy (of course) but other than that it was a great day.
(Little Lillian was extremely moody on her birthday, with no nap and of course over stimulation, but i'd expect nothing less of her. True Lillian Rose form.)

(My two favorite Lils.)
The next day we went to the science spectrum to visit the butterfly museum. The pictures speak for themselves..she was a bit apprehensive at first, but once she warmed up to the fact of their little tickly legs crawling on her, she loved it.

My two gals & a butterfly.

I have a whole other blog post saved about some fun facts about this baby, but I figured this one was lengthy enough- so more to come! I also have an adorable video of the restaurant singing her happy birthday that i'll upload along with the other post. It's seriously the cutest thing EVER.
xoxo.
